Me and 2 of my friends have been playing this game for quiet a while now and it is one of the most fun off-line multiplayer game we have played ever. We have tournaments pretty much weekly.

Wondering if we are crazy and it is just us or if other people think this game is brilliant as well. I do admit it is pretty boring playing on your own, but with friends it is amasing.

Also if you do play on ps3 let me know as I would like to play against some other GB's online.

I wouldn't say people don't agree, they probably just don't care.

I have a friend who once said something similar, but we don't get together to play games anymore so I never got to verify this. But know that you're not alone.

You're actually so right. That game was awesome.

Also bumping is against the rules here.

It actually isn't. Bumping after a day of no replies isn't really a problem or considered spam, it's when people continually bump their own topics or bump them after just a few minutes or hours of inactivity that it becomes an issue.

At any rate, I moved this to the correct forum so later on other fans of the game will actually be able to find the thread.

@supermike6: sorry new to the forums, won't bump again. Good to hear some people have had some great times with this game as well. Even glitches like the big goalie letting in goals under his legs make the game what it is (I consider it a glitch as I don't think they intended that).

2 of my friends and I had a ton of fun playing that game in high school. It's a great arcade hockey game with fun powerups.

@donovas1: I also play it occasionally on the ps3. If you ever want to get a game or two in let me know.

My PSN is GetWhatYaGive

As much as I love the NHL series, and have since NHL 94, I wish EA would also be willing to occasionally throw out a more "arcadey" style game in the vain of NHL 94, 95, etc, but with those older pixel visuals. Heck, I'd be totally up for a new version of "NHL Hitz" although, I know Midway isn't around anymore.

It certainly is a fun game, both offline and online. I just wish that somebody would pick up the NHL Hitz license and bring that back. As much as I love 3 On 3, it resembles NHL 09 (in terms of control and feel, and even glitches) a bit too much.
