Origin of "Yes! Yes! Yes!"?

It seems like there's a running joke where when Alex is with a crowd, he shouts, "Yes! Yes! Yes!" and gets the crowd to shout along with him. This was even parodied in the Pax Prime 2014 panel with "Da! Da! Da!". Does anyone know where this joke came from?

It's a wrestling thing. Daniel Bryan is a popular babyface wrestler and the crowd will chant "yes! yes! yes!" for him. It's such a popular chant though that it's kinda been elevated beyond just being associated with him and crowds chant it all the time.
