OH jeez they have to find a way to get Dan's dad on the site somehow. Those two are so funny together. I actually hope they hired Dan because they knew they would also be getting his dad.

@vuud: He said he will be doing videos with his dad on Giant Bomb.

I would recommend watching some of his other video content too. The Super Replays for Overblood, Half-Life 2 and Dynamite Cop are a few of my favorites. Those are the kind of stuff I would expect out of his GB effort, more than written reviews.

Someone on some thread I saw the other day posted the video where his dad played Octodad. I thought it was great and immediately thought, "I hope he does stuff like this with his dad now that he is at giant bomb."

I have already warned Dan and Jason that the non-stop flood of "HEY YOU SHOULD PLAY THIS FOR THE NEXT SUPER REPLAY" will now be a non-stop flood of "HEY YOU SHOULD PLAY PERSONA 5 FOR THE NEXT ENDURANCE RUN"

Better yet I hope Dan makes his dad try out the Oculus or the Sony one I forget the name.

@danryckert: Also get your dad to visit San Fran and just drive around and record him goofing on everyone and everything he sees.

Yeah I watched the whole "Dan and His Dad" playlist on the Game Informer Youtube channel (https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLB48C10BB584A0D4C) over the weekend and I couldn't stop laughing.

Dan brought GWAR and Riff Raff to the GI offices, that was pretty much all I needed to know before I approved of his hiring. I'm glad his work history seems to be also meeting approval from those here.

Yeah, those Super replays and games with his dad give you a pretty good insight on Dan and how well he'll incorporate into the site. Really can't wait for him to get his dad here for more shenanigans too.
