Never Raided?! I Want YOU! (ps4)

I'm looking for people who have never raided in destiny before. I tried looking at lfg sites but they are not an ideal place to find those not already deep into clearing raids for gear.

I want people who dont know what the raid entails or how we defeat any of the encounters. I'm looking for people who are fresh to it. I dont want to be handheld through the raid.

I'm based in the UK and have a friend who will also be joining us ( so only need 4 more) anyone from anywhere is welcome to join us, but must be able to speak english and have a mic.

Looking to start on vault of glass then move onto crota's end

I've only tried Crota's End about 3 times, but never finished it and I barely understood what the hell was happening.

I haven't tried VOG yet so I'm willing to do both anytime and go through the learning process of finishing the raid! :P

Also, I haven't finished the story missions, so I won't be much use unless someone wants to do some hard-mode story content with me. I just played Crucible non-stop and only got up to the second moon mission ha.

I've ran vault of glass twice with guys I met on destinylfg but I would absolutely be down to run Crota which I know nothing about. I kind of understand VoG but am still shaky on many aspects, and I'd be happy to run it with you guys again if you'll have me. I know that if you are all going in truly blind you're looking at a serious time sink, I could offer some small bits of advice when necessary, it would still very much be a communal effort.

At the moment I've got a 31 Titan and Hunter, and a 28 Warlock.

I tried to get back into Destiny after I've been enjoying Warframe. I'm a level 21 Hunter and after the "endgame" I don't know what to do since I've been out of the loop (I probably wouldn't know what to do even without the break I took). I've been just doing Strike missions seeing how I have no one to play Raids with and hoping to get some better gear/weapons.

So long story short... I would like to join sometime if a level 21 isn't too low.

@handlas: What you need to do is get your vanguard rank up and buy gear through that in order to get to a higher level. Along the way you might find a couple legendary pieces which will expedite the process. With one exotic armor piece and the new vendor armor you can actually get all the way to level 31. Unfortunately at 21 you wouldn't survive anything in either raid. Even in the vault of glass on normal, 25 would be pushing it these days because the vendor gear has so much light on it. What I did initially a few months back was do my bounties each day while grinding the appropriate level strike playlist to get to 26-28, then go into the vault of glass to hit 29 and 30. It's actually easier now than it used to be to hit a higher level because the vendor gear has been upgraded. I can help you with bounties or something sometime, but not the raid(s) quite yet.

To everyone else, I also like to sherpa people through the vault of glass, and crota, but that's less sherpa and more team, until I hit 32.

Alright, I've got two other people right now, so we need 3 more or I'm going to fill up with randoms. Also, I don't want to be a jerk, but I'm going to set a level floor at 26. Stuff in the vault on normal mode ranges from 26-28, and for people's first time it'd be cool if we could go in feeling pretty confident that we can beat it in a not-insane amount of time.

So, if you want in on Vault of Glass tonight (I'm on eastern time, so the tonight I'm thinking about is like 4-5 hours from now), and you're at least level 26, add cwal37 on PSN.

@cwal37: Some timezone confusion happened (I didn't check where the other guys were), and this has been postponed to tomorrow afternoon in EST, so early evening-ish for those of you in the UK or nearby.

@wigg: hey, any plans with our group to finish Crotas End soon? i believe the progress resets on Tuesday with everything else?, and that 1st part was pretty hectic as is. so we should probably finish it before the progress rests.
