I'm just wondering if, when a page or entry is rejected, a reason is generally provided. One of my entries got rejected and I'm not entirely sure why. I don't want to submit it again if it's just going to get rejected again, but I don't know why it was rejected in the first place.
sorry if this is the wrong place for this sort of thing
reason for rejection?
oh, I guess there are emails explaining the reason behind rejections, they were going in my spam folder, whoops
"SSbabel said:True, but what about, say, location submissions? It's not like the quality of the submission really comes into play in that case. You're just flipping a coin. Heads: I'll be first. Tails: I won't. We need to see what's already pending somehow."Someone probably beat you to the punch, sorry."Yeah, but if the thing that beat you to the punch was inferior, then your post would have had a chance.
The problem is that someone got something in before you AND it was similar or better than yours

"oh, I guess there are emails explaining the reason behind rejections, they were going in my spam folder, whoopsNo wonder I have massive messages in my inbox.

Did you list whether or not the Tick had appeared in any games in the comment to the mod? I don't remember any tick games, so I'd be tempted to reject an entry without some upfront proof.
