I know the game only just came out, I've had it for a few days so I'll get the ball rolling with my song. It's only 8 bars long so it is a bit repetitive, the editor is pretty easy to use and get something uploaded to YouTube. I'm looking forward to hearing some of the stuff the community puts out, I know there are some great musicians hiding around here!

hehe my first time using the full suite , id reeealy love more control over the drums , i guess i can edit the loops somehow externally , mabye they will add a tool and team workshop support for custom loops.
also some inbuilt compression on the synths would be nice , while tweaking the advanced settings its easy to overdrive things too much.
there's a couple i did, didn't have too much time to mess around in the studio to write tracks. i was arguably too busy working on the OST :P
@enchantedecho: that's a pretty nice track too!
I'm not really good when it comes to music, so it's kinda weird that I have wanted this game so hard. Love it. Made this after unlocking all the tools, but I only used the "Simple Tools" or whatever:
How long till someone makes the Bombcast Intro?
I had something vaguely resembling music yesterday, but then I opened up the advanced tools...
wish i could use all the tools without going through the game, not that i don't think the game is great but it runs poorly and i have this weird crackly audio (using the GoG release if that means anything)
I think you can. I'm pretty sure I saw an "Unlock studio" button somewhere in the menu
@deadpancakes: thanks for the hot tip, there totally is
EDIT: Oh my god, these advanced settings are insane, i've seen professional synth software with less stuff
Hopefully it isn't too loud. I used a messed up headset when playing this game, and it didn't occur to me that it might cause problems 'til I uploaded this.
Edit: Well this is embarrassing. I totally uploaded the wrong one haha. To destroy what little pride left, I made a song with my eyes literally closed, only opening them every so often to make sure I was still facing the studio. (Worst part is, it sounds better than the work in progress I uploaded earlier D:)
After watching the Quick Look, I just wanted to know what kind of license music created using the game was under.
In case it's not mentioned the the game proper, here's the official response.
@mogigrumbles: i really liked stumbling across that track in the editor :) , make that pad so dreamy why dont you
heres something that started as a quick idea that turned into a lengthy exploratory session , was messing around with creating drum sounds on the synths .
