A Giant Bomb poster for Japan

Hey guys, you may remember me, I made this poster a long time ago and made another poster a few nights ago. I kinda like retro japanese candy boxes and wanted to make a GB-related poster in the spirit of that look. Not sure what spurred me to make this! Oh, and the text says "Giant Bomb". Thanks to all of the people fluent in the language for helping me out on it!

Also I personally would assume you would katakana it as じゃアントボンブ?

Oh! GB-chan!

That katakana says "Jaanto bonbu" I think OP:s "Jaianto Bomu" sounds closer to the american language, with the silent B in bomb and the "i" sound in Giant. Also the first two letters are Hiragana :).

I loooooove that bomb.

@elixirbronze: Yeah something like that! I had lots of different translators give their thoughts on the form, but I still was a bit confused at the end!

Giant Bomb in:

Kanji:

• 巨漢爆弾 (kyokan bakudan)
• 大爆弾 (dai bakudan) (大 is more "large" or "big" than "giant")

Katakana:

• ジャイアﾝトボム (Jaianto bomu)

@snail: Why write the first part in hiragana?

Bomb is written as 爆弾 in kanji, as バクダン in katakana, as ばくだん in hiragana and as "bakudan" in romaji. When they write it the English way it is "bomu". Take for instance the Japanese wikipedia page for "powerbomb".

Is Giant Bomb anime now?
