I have heard a lot of video game journalists complain of the discomfort that 3D glasses, movies and games bring them. I have never noticed any headaches or other pains after seeing 3D movies, and I'm beginning to wonder if its something that affects older people more than younger people. i only know of a couple people around my age that complain about 3D. So what about you, does 3D cause discomfort or are video game journalists a bunch of sissies?

Yeah, it gives me a headache and blurry vision.  I can take it in short periods of time, but when watching movies I frequently find I need to look at the floor or something to keep from getting sick.

Also, I hate the Hollywood and now gaming push toward 3D.  Just because you can do something doesn't mean you should.

I have never met anyone who feels sick from 3d or gets motion sickness in any form. It just dosen't seem to effect people over here.

I find 3d to be an uncomfortable experience because I have to wear actual glasses under the 3d glasses which usually means I have my glasses being pressed into my temples

Last year, I bought a 3D capable PC monitor and bought the nVidia 3D setup. I already had a 3D enabled video card.

Played a few games with the glasses on. After about 20 minutes of playing, I had the absolute worst headache I've ever had. Maybe it was because I had laser eye surgery a few years ago?

Regardless, I returned it and got my $300 back the next day.
