I would need MS points to be transferred to my account to play those songs.

I'd buy most of their stuff for 80 points each. Maybe only the more difficult/awesome songs at 160.

I'd buy a $60 on-disc track pack with their entire catalog of music, as well as outtakes, "In the Can In the Can" as performed by the Suburban All-Stars and all versions of the Giant Bombcast theme.  
 
And it'll all be transportable to Rock Band 3. For a nominal fee.
