So today I bought my first home console in almost 10 years.

I just now decided to join in on console gaming. Since as far back as I can remember I have been a pc gamer. I thought that games would not be up to par on the consoles. I was wrong. I just got an xbox 360 and games like red dead redemption and gears of war 2. Its so easy to get into and I dont have to worry about cheaters in multiplayer. Although now i worry ill end up spending so much upgrading my console HD and buying stuff on the marketplace. 
 
I will still game on PC, but mostly for RTS and MMO's. But so far im having a blast with my first console. I dont have enough for a TV so I hooked it up via my computer monitor and it works great. Not quite 1080p but very playable.

PC is where I do most of my stuff these days because I don't have a 360. I think you made a nice choice.

Nice buy. The 360 has some great games on it. Hopefully you'll be able to get a Wii and PS3 sometime and get into some of their exclusives as well.

Welcome to the Age of Computers?

I will be using my console for games that are console games. Not first person shooters which i will continue to play on my pc. But games like red dead redemption and gears of war 2  (not first person but still a shooter) are made for console. 
 
I MIGHT get MW2 in order to get away from the cheat hackfest that is the pc version however....

Because the PS3 has more exclusives that aren't also available on the PC platform, but what I was trying to say, to each his own. "
