Probably the same as the first one, with minor gameplay alterations.

Bowser does a thing, you have to make him stop doing a thing. It'll probably involve tricking him into hitting some hazard, or throwing him.

In an epic twist the final "planet" you battle bowser on turns out to be Unicron, who turns out to be the real final boss.

Mario has to race Bowser across a ring-shaped world on a go-kart and get to the last star before the whole place explodes.
