Kirby and the Rainbow Curse Arrives on February 13

Nintendo revealed Kirby and the Rainbow Curse would arrive in February during a recent Nintendo Direct, but an official Facebook post has given us a more more specific release date: February 13.

I doubt games like Kirby and the Rainbow Curse and Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker will turn Wii U into some blockbuster success, but I'm awfully happy we're getting them. It's why I buy Nintendo consoles.

And Nintendo of Europe is putting it out "during the second half of 2015". Ugh. <.<

I just packed up my WiiU this week when I had to make room for my new Xbox One. It's games like this that make me wish I didn't have to do that.

Found the 'rock' theme in that vid pretty ropey. Dunno, just lacking the usual polish found in these things.

Ugh, why does this always happen with Kirby games? There's a massive delay between US an EU releases most, if not all, of the times. As my previous comment demonstrates, that headline got me all excited. :<

Well, yeah. You have to draw paths for Kirby, that would be incredibly hard to do if you were looking away from the surface you were drawing on.

It'd be weird to look at a gamepad the whole time when there's a big screen TV right in front of me. Obviously this isn't the only Wii U game that does this.

Yeah, but that's becoming somewhat of a running theme with the WiiU, at least among me and the people I know who have one. Even if my TV isn't being used by other people, I often find myself flipping on the Gamepad and nothing else and playing that way.

Hmm interesting. I guess I could save power by not having to use my TV.

Splatoon, Wonderful 101, Codename S.T.E.A.M., Xenoblade, and a shit-ton of downloadable stuff. They make new stuff fairly often, or use an existing coat of paint over new gameplay types. But people point at Mario and say "See? They make nothing new!"
