I know this is far fetched, but couldn't it be some people claiming to be the blackhound guys who made a separate website just to fuck with people? Its just weird that they didn't wait until the timer was done.

Could be absolutely anything at this point. I'm still leaning towards fake but I'll be staring at the site when the timer goes up without a doubt.

Yeah, let's give it until the end of that countdown until we throw our hands up. The sourcing on that Blackhound game is from reddit and nothing says ''official'' like a reddit announcement. It could very well be a hoax and if that's the case those developers very much deserve the linching they're gonna get but let's just wait 90 minutes until you we jump to conclusions.

They took down the imitation and rescinded that announcement, but ingsoc.org is still going. Also there's this tweet. I dont want to keep following this, but i cant look away.

Regardless if it's MGS related or not, it's been fun to watch the speculation. At this point, Kojima's legend and ability to fool people is growing and getting exaggerated much in the same way that Big Boss' legend grows and is exaggerated, which is very fitting. :D

We have this beautiful thing and people just want more. I get that. But this was clearly not shit from the jump.

I don't know anything about these Rooster folks, but good on them for stirring the pot. The wild speculation about the games was, at least to me, as memorable as the games themselves. So another one of those was fun, even from the outside (of this stupid circle-jerk) looking in.
