Link's equipment confirmed for Monster Huter 4 Ultimate

This was probably a given, since this gear was also in the original Japan-only version of Monster Hunter 4, but it's been confirmed by Capcom that Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate will feature Link's equipment from the Zelda series. So this means you can totally play a female Link if you want. Well, sort of.

I am always a fan of silly crossover items in games if they are optional. I can only hope for a set of Jaggi armor in the next Zelda game.

I just want to know stats. What armor set skills does it have? Probably dumb ones.

Man I totally forgot MH 4 Ultimate was dropping this year.

Is this coming stateside?

@hailinel: Dumb as in worthless, there is a very small subset of armor skills that are really useful outside of very specific situations.

Well, I'm not sure how to judge or compare against other armor sets as I haven't played much Monster Hunter, but here are starts from vanilla MH4:

@hailinel: Mmm, yeah, it has OK skills but way too few slots to be useful. It's fun gear for farming easy quests in groups, not much else.

Looking forward to being the only non-Link in groups!

MH4 not being out over here stateside is still the only real reason why I haven't gotten a 3DS
