Hey gang,

So, I'd like a second dock for my switch. At the moment, I have it attached to my second monitor, with a HDMI splitter so I can swap to my Switch on my second screen at any time. However, I'd also like to play it on my TV when I feel like it. Now, as I'm sure you know, an official Nintendo dock is upwards of £90, which is absolutely absurd. That's HALF THE PRICE of a Switch LITE.

Now, I've looked at this, and, according to the description, it looks like it'd work? However, I know that sometimes, non official hardware can absolutely wreck the Switch specifically.

Does anyone have any ideas for a second dock that come in or around £30?

Thanks!

@sombre: I got an official one on ebay, it was used, but it was like £50. With all of the stories of unofficial ones bricking consoles I wouldn't risk it.

See, I'm seeing stuff like this, but how do I know it's an official, real one?

I don't know. It's always a gamble. I looked through my purchase history and the same seller I got one from has a dock for £40. But again, it's a gamble, The one I got was 100% genuine though. dock

I've been using that insignia one for over a year now. It works fine usually, but can be a little buggy at times. Sometimes I have to take it off the dock and put it back on a few times to get it to display on my TV. It also doesn't detach as smoothly, you have to hold the dock down or the Switch will stay attached.

If anyone's interested, the dock I bought is the one in the OP, and it works like a CHARM. Full useability, 1/4 the size
