Hello Giantbombers,

I'm new to forums in general, I've always been a lurker on them but I've never posted. Without further adieu:

I collect vinyls and I've mostly stuck to older singers like Billie Holiday, Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Etc.

I've always liked soul music but an extremely specific kind:

I guess slow burn love anthem type songs?

random thing for a 22 year old male engineer to love, but long story short does anyone have any more suggestions?

Thanks!

Straight up, if you ain't listening to Marvin Gaye, then what the F, son.

So yeah, sounds like you'd be into some Marvin Gaye, or Teddie Pendergrass. If you want something slightly more funky, Curtis Mayfield or The Commodores. Something a little more rhythm & blues, Wilson Pickett or Otis Redding.
