A wild Ryan Davis Appears (and many other Giant Bombers)

Randomly going through Youtube's "related videos" starting with a dunkaroos commercial.... and I came upon this.

Yeah I know its an old gamespot clip so of course it has them. But still did not expect to see Ryan Davis while looking at 90s commercials on youtube.

There was one I found of Brad talking about how he was/is/always will be a PC guy and that was why he was going to do something. Was random and weird seeing it. Can't find it for the life of me.

That's better than a lot of what they do now - more subtle humor, great editing. I think 2006-2007 were probably the best years of the old Gamespot team, and 2006 may have been the best year period.

The melody from the very start of the video sounded so familiar and I could not for the life of me place it... so naturally I spent the last 40 minutes listening to it over and over until I figured it out.

Phrasing is of course very different and Im sure it is an absolute coincidence, but its the begining of Astor Piazzolla´s Ave Maria. Here is a link to a nice version of it for your listening pleasure:

Watching that made me remember the first time I used the word fuck it was directed toward the Duck Hunt dog. Got in some trouble for that. Nice find though.

These videos are great, if only because I love Brad's voice in these old Gamespot videos and Greg's stories. Petty theft, and I guess fraud, is approved by Supergiant Games.

This video also reminds me that I find Carrie to be a very attractive woman. I don't think that was the goal but, hey, what can you do?

Yeah, as much as I love profuse profanity, I think not being able to say fuck forced them to be more creative with their laughs. I dunno. Who am I to say.

I saw this when it came out on Gamespot, this makes me want Giant Bomb to do a NES 5 hour stream.
