Another Experiment

Let's see if anybody here can guess where the Statue of Liberty is located. Yes I mean the one in the US, this isn't a trick question but I am sure that 99% of you will get it wrong. Why? Because the majority of websites that I have visited were also wrong. So good luck.

Liberty island? I think that's what it's called. In New York

It seems I was mistaken in my wording. Let me rephrase. Where is Liberty Island located? Its in the same place so it doesn't matter.

New Jersey. :D

About 25-30 years ago (i forget) the mayors of New York City and Jersey City had a long feud about who the statue belonged to. Finally they measured the length of the harbor and where the statue stands. It was discovered that the statue stands on New Jersey territory, it's back is facing us, but it's ours.

I don't really care that Jersey feels bad for being the garbage dump of America and decided to claim Liberty on a technicality, the Statue of Liberty is in New York.

I believe even though it is in New Jersey territory, it still is officially part of New York.

Its not on a technicality its just fact, it's in New Jersey so don't be a crybaby. and New Jersey is home of the birth place of baseball (Hoboken), Bon Jovi and Bruce Springsteen. So STFU"

New Jersey is a dump, a slowly improving dump. But a dump nontheless. How exactly do you etch out New Jersey's boundries into a shared harbor? The Statue of Liberty is in New York, it always has been and it always will be."
