I really love the personal aspect of GiantBomb as well. You really feel like you know the editors personally on GiantBomb.

Well, I don't necessarily think the blogging community is dead. I just think that this is a slower time for games like every year and people don't have much to talk about. But come E3 I think we'll be seeing a lot more. I know I'm personally planning on starting back up soon.

That is one of the main reasons why I enjoy Giant Bomb compared to Gamespot.  At least Giant Bomb pump out content like their awesome quick looks, the endurance run and interviews and stuff.  What does GS do in comparison? Very little.  They do a podcast and OTS when they feel like it and its not even worth paying for nowadays.  I still go to GS but hardly blog there anymore since no one bothers replying to them.

I agree with what you are saying on the blogging front but I believe Rezzolution said is perhaps right and that its just the slow time of the year but there might be blog after blog come the busy time like E3 and the game events like Leipzig and TGS.  Also, congrats on winning the 150 bucks. :)
