I became a recent fan of the show myself after a friend of mine told me about it and I gotta say I freaking love it! Anyone else out there in GiantBomb land?
Burn Notice anyone?
Been loving it since day one, stumbled on the debut and have been a diehard fan since. Great cast, and the shows premise is really great.
Yeah...Burn Notice is one of my favorite shows. I started watching during the first season because I heard Bruce Campbell was on it. Like the other posters said the show gets better and better each season!
Loved it, then liked it, now I'm kind of meh. The show is kind of gotten into a slump for me, but I'm at that point where I have watched so much of it I feel obligated to keep watching it just to see where it goes. Plus I just like seeing Bruce Campbell on TV again.
I am playing catch up on this show. I just started season 3 (thanks Netflix!) and I am TiVo - ing the current season. Such a good show, and like several people, I'm just glad to see Bruce Campbell again. I will say, the beginning of Season 3 is slow so far........
I watched the first episode of the newest season (only one I've seen) and the lead character is handsome, sure, but he's got no skill at acting, or at least in delivering his lines. The plot of that episode was also extremely cheesy.
It's a great show, you need to be watching it in a specific mindset though, i.e. lets see Bruce Campbell blow shit up! Another beer Mikey?
" Great show that seems to get better with each season. Just starting Season 3. As Jeff said, this really needs to be turned into a game. "Alpha Protocol is pretty much just like Burn Notice.
I like it, the show is kind of like a video game, Westen is on a main quest to figure out who burned him, but he keeps running into side quests he just can't say no to.
Love the show. Only started watching it for Bruce Campbell, but I stayed for the cheesy fun and those voiceovers. The subtitles/character intros are also great.
I love this show's premise of spycraft on a budget.
Sure, you need a lot of suspension of belief to ignore how incredibly stupid the antagonists can be, or how all this important global espionage is based within Miami's city limits.
But other than that, I definitely like the slick feel emphasizing beating the bad guys with wit, rather than just hurting or shooting everyone.
Love the show. I've seen every episode so far and plan to keep watching. It's awesome. How can you go wrong casting Bruce Campbell anyways?
