Canadian Comedy Awards-Kind of sad to be Canadian

so im watching the CCA 10 special on comedy central. Gosh it is bad. The stand ups are barely getting any laughs i feel bad for them. I guess this just shows that there aren't too many funny canadians. Even Air Farce Live, Canada's SNL, isn't really funny. They get a chuckle once in a while. kind of sad to watch. 
 
geez this award show is painful! Any other comedy fans out there? Anyone listen to canadian comedians..sheesh. thoughts?

yeah it's pretty weak. air farce really isn't canada's snl though. just watch corner gas lol.

Trailer Park Boys is great. 

There are lots of funny and talented Canadians.  They just all come to the US where they can get PAID. 
 
 
 
 
More seriously, there are lots of talented canadian actors and comedians in the US, and we are glad to have them.

Well, you guys gave us Mike Myers and Jim Carrey. Plus there was that Kids in the Hall show that was pretty good. 
 
That has to count for something.

Whenever you get disappointed at Canadian comedy, just watch The Kids in the Hall and you'll feel all warm and tingly... at least the moments you're not laughing, eh?

Trailer Park Boys, Seth Rogen, and Dan Aykroyd are the only funny famous Canadians that come to mind. And Aykroyd's dad was a policy adviser to out greatest Prime Minister, Pierre Trudeau.

It surprises me when I find out how many popular actors, actresses and comedians are Canadian. There are lots of them.

I think Pure Pwnage is pretty funny. I also watched Corner Gas until it was canceled. Oh, and Rick Mercer is pretty funny too.

There are lots of funny Canadian comedians,
Trouble is most of them are not allowed anywhere near events like these.
They show up on just for laughs sometimes but they are never recognized by anything "official"

Colin Mochrie? I know he was born in Killy but surely you can count him as Canadian?

This just reminds me how much I wish comedy network still showed SCTV reruns, god damn do I love "The Great White North".

Jim Carrey is Canada's probably funniest followed closely by Mike Myers. 
 
The Trailer Park Boys are also extremely awesome.Kenny vs Spenny is also pretty damn funny.
