Hey duders,
My band and I are putting out our debut album at the end of next month. Here's a little teaser trailer:
We are For Astronauts And Satellites and we're a Post-rock / Chiptune band hailing from Hampshire, a posh bit in the South East of England. We're, also, all big fans of Giant Bomb!
A little back story on the band. We started the project in March of 2013 and, sadly, were actually at a practice session when @rorie broke the news about Ryan's passing. Heartbroken by the news, I took the following Wednesday off of work to listen to the tribute bombcast. At just under an hour in @alex spoke of Ryan's thing being to "just put it out there", to not worry whether or not something is "going to suck" and, if it does suck, "whatever, we'll just do something else!" Those words really resonated with me - someone who, until now, would hide away and only "put it out there" when I was totally happy that it was "perfect".
This album is (in it's own way) a tribute to Ryan for the hundreds of hours of entertainment, enjoyment and laughter that he has provided us as a group and for inspiring us to "just put it out there" without fear of whether or not we think it's "perfect".
I hope that you duders have a moment to check out the trailer, to visit our little website and to leave a comment in this thread to let us know what you think. We'd really appreciate your feedback!
