Hey guys, as some of you may know, Die Hard is one of the greatest movies ever made. Well, this morning, in fact just a few minutes ago, the president of Fox Entertainment, Tom Roth, went onto the Jim Rome Show and announced that this was to be corrected.

And not just that but that the 5th movie in the Die Hard franchise would begin filming in January 2012. It will be titled A Good Day to Die Hard and will be about John McClane having to bailout his son John Jr from trouble in Russia. Going back to international criminals is a great idea I think. What say you guys? Totally stoked?

Edit: Also the release date is set for 2/14/2013, take your ladies to see this soon to be masterpiece!

Something about that name seems very sexual to me.  But yeah, I think it might be pretty cool.

@Gabriel: Yeah, he was mentioned in the first movie and you can see him in the background in scenes at the house and in the pic of the family that Holly has in her office.

Sounds good to me. I had my doubts about Die Hard 4, and even with the PG-13 rating, it still ended up being awesome. So I guess I'm pretty stoked. I do hope Mary Elizabeth Winstead will also be returning...

As far as I'm concerned, Die Hard 3 is the last Die Hard movie, and with this, that's not gonna change.

I'll assume it's just be called Die Hard 5 here in the UK. The previous one was just called Die Hard 4.0. But this is great news.

At this point, I feel that they shod stop being Die Hard movies and just be John McClane movies. The last one was fun if pointlessly tame so I hope this one is back to being an 18.

It ain't die hard unless terrorists take something significant hostage. First one was a building, second was an airport, the third was New York, and the 4th was America. The fuck are they going to do in this one?

@XII_Sniper: Judging by the title, John will have to rescue the Federation ambassador from Klingon terrorists on Qo'noS.

The name sounds so wrong, but I was sceptical about the 4th film but I really enjoyed it. Can only say I'm looking forward to it!

I hope there are parkour scenes with Bruce Willis' face digitally imposed on a free runner while the dubbiest of dubstep plays.

If the whole movie doesn't take place over the course of one night inside a single building or compound like in the first 2 films, then they've already fucked up.

Yep. Could barely sit through Die Hard 4.
