Favorite android apps?

I recently acquired an HTC hero and was wondering what your fav apps are for android. A lot of them seem to be hit-and-miss, and it sort of looks like the app market has a ways to go before it becomes anywhere near as big as the ipod app store.
 
(yes, i've got the giantbomb app, and although a little buggy, it's amazing)
