Gaming Marathons becoming popular

Has anyone noticed that Gaming Marathons have been becoming very popular? Ever since the Mario Marathon back in late June, there have been a bunch of Game Marathons scheduled from here untill late August. If you dont know about the Mario Marathon that was held a month ago, it was really succesful as they played through the Mario Bros series, Mario 64, Sunshine, and they even got ALL 120 stars in Super Mario Galaxy to close out there marathon. And in total donations, they raised over $10,000 dollars for Childs Play Charity just for playing video games. Amazing.

I watched the latest Rock Band marathon and that was very, very long. I would host one on my own but I have no cam to broadcast it.
