I need some local co-op dammit!

OK, here's the deal. My best friend is to damn broke (grad-student) to buy his own system, but we used to spend a ton of time playing stupid as shit multiplayer games. Now, I'm talking really stupid, like RE5, or Army of 2, even Dynasty Warriors.

Well, we were hanging out the other day and I realized that I don't have any new games with real deep local co-op, and I don't even know where to look for it. So what do you say Bombers, anyone know of a newish game with a good couch-campaign?

The new EDF has splitscreen co-op

• Left 4 Dead
• Rainbow Six Vegas 2 (starting to get dated)
• Borderlands

Those are the major local co-op games I play.

Yup, outside of a couple of terrible bossfights the game is one of this gen's best co-op experiences.
