Completely ignoring bull shit like the Wind-up Hunter loop and hitting random Synchro-centric monsters like Spore and T.G. Striker for no reason.
Could this spell disaster for other Konami properties going forward?

Yu-Gi-Oh, I believe. Konami having the license, and Synchro monsters being a thing in Yu-Gi-Oh. But any of this is way past my time and knowledge of the card game.
Is it really them to blame? Do they own Yu-Gi-Oh in it's entirety or just make the games?
If so, how dare they do what you're talking about.
@MB: OP was bored and thought it would be funny to start a thread with some random Yu-Gi-Oh lingo to see how it confused people?
I still want more frog cards, they're the best.
I think... that maybe, this is about Yu-Gi-Oh... To which I would point out that this is a card game based on a tv show in which the cards are based on ancient egypt and have the ability to cause doom and destruction and end the world, and the main character is a kid who is possessed by the spirit of an ancient Egyptian warlord (I think) and that's not even in the top 5 for messed up characters so... why is it worth complaining about?

This has nothing to do with the topic, but it's not like the OP wanted positive discussion anyway.
Correct, this is nothing positive to discuss.
There is only pain and suffering to be had as everyone starts maining D.D. Crow and silently broods over long forgotten times when things were simpler and it wasn't necessary to adapt Macro Anti-meta to your archetype just so you could compete with the new hotness.
