Basking in the glory of the Macho Man, being mystified by his hypnotic stare, his charismatic appearance, that's one thing. To truly appreciate the glory that was, IS, Randall Poffo, one must watch the man in action.
Randy Savage held the Intercontinental Championship at a time when it actually meant something, and he held it for over a year. His reign led to the final event mentioned in the above video, his Championship match against Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat at Wrestlemania III. Hogan/Andre was probably the worst match anyone would see that year, even if it was the biggest and most memorable part of the show, but Savage/Steamboat...that was the best. A classic to this day.
