Babylon AD. Holy shit, Vin Diesel can do no wrong. How did people hate this movie?
Tutorial for watching movies starring Vin Diesel:
-don't take anything seriously ever at any point in the film whatsoever.
I need suggestions for more.
Movies you watched on Netflix (that you'd never watch otherwise)
Babylon A.D. is a terrible movie. If you like that , then you'll have no problem finding something on Netflix.
Did you watch the theatrical cut or the directors cut? This film had pretty much all essential story cut from the movie in order to reach some arbitrary hour and a half time limit." That movie sucked ass... "
I ask because every time I have seen it on TV, red box, or blockbuster, it is the theatrical cut.
Has anyone seen the director's cut of Babylon A.D.? Apparently it's completely different. It's a shame that film was terrible, but that's studio interference for you.
" The Human Centipede "This! My buddy's sister had us watch the trailer, and I got home and checked Netflix, which was like, "Hey man, we just added this movie, you should totes watch it!"
So I did, and it was a pretty good movie, if fairly gross. Also, the ending is poor. But hey, independent movies!
Babylon A.D. was also not the worst thing ever, but I did not watch that on Netflix.
NBT (Never Been Thawed) a mockumentary about frozen dinner collectors. Loved that shit. Police Beat was also fantastic.
I remember Babylon AD being amusingly bad, not sure if it was a directors cut or not. God damn that final scene with the kids was hilarious though. Also, blond chick was hot.
Now that I think about it, I do remember reading about the director being super pissed off about not being allowed to do it the way he wanted. Still, it's basically a more actiony, crazier version of Children of Men, so..... yeah.
