Tattoos, people!!! We need more of them in these forums!!!
Post up both what you have and what you would like to get, as well as any in-progress and/or future tattoos.
Right now, I'm personally working on a half-sleeve for my left arm that will incorporate a portrait of Giles Corey. Somehow (probably as bands above and below the portrait), I'll have the words Peine forte et dure on the top and "More Weight" - 1692 on the bottom.
As of right now, I have the following:
All of my tattoos hold meaning of some sort. The standard tradition of getting a tattoo usually goes as follows:
-- Left side of the body means a promise to yourself
-- Right side of the body means a promise to another
-- Split onto both sides or down the center means a balance of your equilibrium
I'm thinking I'll work my half sleeve for my right arm into being a memorial piece for the people I've known and lost that have inspired me.
I'm not usually one for silly tattoos, although sometimes I want to get one.
So what about you guys?
