Monday night RAW just ended. Lesnar just came out and F5'ed John Cena. The crowd in Miami went nuts. I went nuts. Haven't been this excited about wrestling in awhile.
Oh my god. Its 2004 again. Brock Lesnar is in WWE again.
Yeah, he got his shit pushed in during his last two fights. Cain Velazquez opened his face up like a can of soup, and Alistair Overeem kicked him in the ribs so hard that he folded over like a lawn chair. Diverticulitis makes actual fighting a very bad prospect. Pro wrestling is physical and stressful, but nothing near as bad as actually getting crushed right in the ribs after having bits of your digestive system removed. Smart trade for his health for sure.
It is kind of sad to see tbh, only because someone from ND was trying to make a name for himself... and was Brocks training partner in the UFC. (Chris T. "crowbar") I checked his facebook to see what he's up to now that Brock's in the WWE, and he's doing the family thing, working on a farm :(.. I guess there's a time to hang up the ass beatings, sometime.

Really? I though he was a UFC person now, what happened to that?
He went through some pretty rough stomach surgery for a while and tried to come back but just wasn't really up to it like he was previously, so he retired.
He also retired because he couldn't pick up a win.

That's a damn shame. He seemed genuinely happy in UFC.
He was a pretty garbage MMA fighter and couldn't do much after his stomach illness or whatever. Glad to see him and his chest tattoo of a dick are back to doing what they do best.
I'm totally stoked. I was a big wrestling fan in the early 2000's, but really got burned out following the Chris Benoit incident. CM Punk got me hooked back in this past Summer with the whole angle around Money in the Bank, and since then I've been 100% back on board. The Pain is Back!
It's pretty hard to imagine a guy having a successful MMA career after having 2 stomach surgeries and large portions of his intestine removed. That is hardcore surgery for a really nasty illness. The kind that can end not just a career, but a life. Brock has nothing to be ashamed of..
