It has been reported recently that Eric Medalle has passed away due to an accident. He was the creative design director for The Pokemon Company International. It is reported that while on a drive with his daughter high winds knocked over a tree which fell onto their car. She was pulled out of the vehicle and was reported to survive.

At the PKMN Company Medalle has been responsible for most of the TCG logos as well as logos for some of the other PKMN games. He also served as the artist for the generation VI and V pokemon games, as well as working on some of the spin off pokemon games like Pokemon Conquest and the Pokemon Ranger games.

My thoughts and prayers go out to his family, friends and co-workers.

Horrific. Had a close friend pass away years ago because of a similar circumstance.
