i used to hate superman before smallville i thought he was a weak hero because hes pretty much indestructible, but the series has shown me a completely vulnerable side to the character the last few seasons have really be amped up
I might it seems to be getting better again. There were seasons (5 and some of 6) where the show turned into a dawsoncreek type show. Last season the show redeemed itself.
I'm gonna watch the season premier tomorrow. I kinda hate the fact that Supernatural is still on Thursdays. I liked watching the two shows back to back.

This show is gay. They are just putting in all the superman characters and making it where it just might as well be a toned down superman series. They might as well just say, fuck it and call it Metropolis.
The minute they put Doomsday on the show and he wasn't there explicitly killing Superman...that's the minute that I stopped caring. Season 8 ruined it for me.

Well, the show should have ended with season 7, but I'll watch it tonight to see if it is worth a continued viewing. I wasn't impressed when season 8 began, but about half-way through the season, I started watching it again and enjoyed it. If they can keep it as fun despite having lost the shows main villains (Lionel and Lex), perhaps they can close it out on a high note. Although, I beg them to let it end finally this year.
