The future of 3D

It seems companies are getting more and more invested in this 3D business. I can't imagine if in the future this will be as widespread as the transition from 2D to 3D graphics was and skeptics like me will turn out to be wrong. More likely this current innovation will slowly be overtaken by something new, and we can say farewell to it.

Every single movie this year is being released in fucking 3d, soon we will be able to watch the weather channel in 3d :/
