The new season of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia

... is lackluster so far. I got real laughs out of the beauty pageant episode and that's about it. The part where Charlie, Mac, and Dennis were doing the Daft Punk-esque rendition of the star spangled banner was hilarious.

Your thoughts on the new season? One of the things I noticed with this show is that it gets funnier watching each episode more than once. I felt this same way last season but ended up rewatching all the episodes on Hulu and was laughing my ass off.

I've actually thought they were all pretty hilarious... I was in hysterics when the results of Charlie swallowing blood capsules came to fruition.

But yeah, I have been enjoying the season so far.

The Jersey Shore episode was my favorite one so far. The other episodes haven't really been laugh out loud funny but they're still better than last season was.

The last episode was one of the weaker episodes of the series. Overall, I think this is an above average season so far.  The whole fat Mac storyline really added something necessary to prevent stagnation.

Okay yeah, actually that was a good scene also!

"Fat"... Max (is that his name?) is not funny and he just looks weird.

I like this season so far. It's been different from past seasons though. There have been a lot less crazy schemes so far.

i've only seen the shore and beauty pageant and thought they were both pretty good. and yea very different.
