We climbed a mountain then snowboarded/skied down it. [Photos]

A group of six of us were wondering what to do on our Saturday. So, we decided to drive to the base of a mountain, then hike up it to where there was snow. It was pretty awesome. Those are the photos, I also took some video which I have yet to edit as editing takes a lot of work =/

Looks nice, though there doesn't appear to be a ton of snow on the ground. How long did the hike take to reach that altitude?

The mountains here open in a week or two so it won't be much longer till ski season in Utah.

Sounds fun. We'll be taking a skiing trip to Colorado at some point this winter...can't wait.

Yeah, the snow wasn't that great as it has been fairly dry so far. We hiked 2 hours. I'm not entirely sure about the elevation...

One of my dreams is to climb the Everest. I know this has nothing to do with your post, but i never climbed and i have never used a snowboard/ski, so any comment of mine would be dumb.

Where is that?  The trees, snow, and mountains look like home to me (Interior of British Columbia).

This makes me want to ski... Just a few more weeks to go, probably.

I went snowboarding in Switzerland once. Man, that was probably one of the most fun times I've ever had.
