So I can't think of anything I want for christmas. I'm not talking about games so thats why I put this here. As the years go on its harder for me to think of things I want. I have no clue what's out there that would be cool. I have a camera, I have a sweet phone, and I have a nice tv in my room with a 360 and PS3 so I'm not real sure what to ask for. What all cool technological devices are out there or what else is there that might be good for a 17 year old for christmas?
What are some good ideas for x-mas gifts?
Haha I can already drive thank you. I mean really though I just can't think of anything cool this year. I've never had this much trouble of thinking of gifts for christmas. It's weird.
I honestly have been asking for money or gift cards to specific stores for years. The only time I actualy ask for something, is if I need something like a cheese greeter. Grandman's and aunts can be trusted with cheese greeters, but not video games or technology. I mean I would never as my grandma to buy me a new video card, even if that is what i want for Christmas. Instead I just ask her for cash, and spend it on the video card.
One other thing that is safe(ish) is movies. If there is something you want, then ask for that title.
As for what you want to buy....if you need ideas just look around this site and a couple others. GameSpot always posts a holiday gift guide around this time of year.
Edit: You also need to post what you are looking for. Are you into shooters? Indi games? RPGs?
If you can't think of anything you want then you don't really need anything. Give to someone less needy or just do something nice around Christmas for someone, its very gratifying.
" Gift cards have made gift giving and receiving much simpler for me. Unless they ask me for something specifically, expect a gift card for somewhere I know you like getting stuff. "Ugh, no. Gift cards are just restrictive money. I personally would much rather have money even if a gift card is more 'personal'.
Of course thats unless its a MS point gift card.
Get one for you, your lady friend, your mom, and even grandma.
