What do you think of my website header?

I am building a website, and I just finished the dropdown menu and Istarted working on a thing undermeath it ( I dont know if header is the right word here).

I would like to know your opinion on it.

Note: The part with the pictures under the menu will have text and will link to a diferent page. The text will be on the black transparent div.

Without the website around it, it just sorta looks like an advertisement. :P

Yup. Theres just not enough of a website to critique this.

Looks pretty good, the only criticism I have is that I don't like that menuitems in the dropdown are aligned center instead of left. But that's a preference thing I guess.

I try to imagine a website behind your header, and in my head it looks dang cool.

In my opinion, it looks to bland. The PS 3-logo, Isaac, some shooter, the OnLive-controller and some picture of a website doesn't give me anything. And a header should give me something. Like the name of the site.
