I haven't boxed for a while now .. and stupid grad school means I have no TV to be following boxing, but God damn I hope I can catch a live stream somewhere. It's always great to see Pacman fight !

I don't care about boxing, but I voted for Pacquiao because they call him Pacman and I like that.

Maybe I'm just a barbarian, but I can't get interested in boxing. I find it so linear; like it's a contact version of tennis or something.

I believe they call him Pacman because his first name is Manny (Man), and his last name is Pacquiao (Pac). Pac-Man.

Pretty sure Pacman has this one without too much fuss.  I think Mosley will go the distance but will lose by a clear majority decision, assuming it isn't unanimous.

Pacquiao should have this since Shane didn't do so well against Sergio Mora most recently, and Manny is a class above.

Mosley has never been stopped before though, not sure how he will fare as he was looking slow in the latter half of the Mayweather fight.

He could just turtle up like Clottey, but i somehow doubt that.

This fucking fight is a sham while Freddie Roach scrambles to get a Mayweather fight worked out. Pretty Boy Floyd wants 100 million dollars to fight....

Sugar Shane doesn't have much of a chance. Norm MacDonald even bet 25 grand on Pac Man.

guess there's too much manny fanfare.  We can't forget that Shane is still a Hall of Fame guy.

Pacs trained harder than he has done in years and does well against guys that Mayweather didn't look very impressive against. Easy win for Manny. If it gets to the later rounds though I expect him to take his foot off the gas and let Mosley keep his never knocked out record intact. Mosleys over the hill, last win was against Margarito and that was with the whole plaster fiasco.

Who-what against where-why?

first round over, Mosley seems to be matching the speed with Manny.  But they just jabbed each other mostly.
second round = Pacman gets some good lefts in, they headbutt each other a few times.
third round = Wow Pacman knocks down Mosley...  almost knocked out.
fourth round = mosley fighting scared, keeps backing up, dunno how much longer the fight will last.
five - seven = missed some of it, but more of the same, Pacquaio just backing up the bigger Mosley and bullying him.
8-9 = looks like a sparring match, none of them really throwing anything brutal.  
10 = Mosley pushes Pacquaio down and it's counted as a knockdown!   Pacman gets mad and finishes the round strong.
11= Mosley seems to only want to avoid the attacks and not fighting back.  Looks like a beaten fighter.

Every time I see Pacquiao I think back to his fight with, my all time favorite boxer, Oscar Del La Hoya. And then I feel bad for De La Hoya because he decided to come out of retirement just so he could embarrass himself. I now generally route against Pacquiao, but acknowledged he is a great fighter.

The Mayweather fight needs to happen, otherwise nothing else makes sense.  Manny can retire if he wanted and be considered an all time great.     A third fight with JM Marquez is probably a mismatch since Pacquiao has had a few years to be fighting at 147 so he has muscle experience at that level, while Marquez has just been fighting at 135 the past few years.

So Pacman won? Seemed likely. Never bet against him.

Just seen the fight, dissapointing. Shane mosely was just defending and slipping punches all day without actually fighting back. He probally knew he couldn't win. Manny wasn't even agressive at all, keep giving him a high five which slows down the pace even more.
