xbox advert banned in uk

just found out that the xbox advert  for ff13 has been banned in the uk as it used ps3 footage. it was spotted by a viewer who contacted the advertising standards authority, who played both versions and agreed with the viewer.  the advert didnt use any in game footage just cut scenes and square enix have said that there isnt much difference between the 2 versions but admitted the advert was using the ps3 version.

FFXIII came out months and months ago. Why are you posting this now. Surely there are no FFXIII advertisements still playing.

Why was that guy so insanely dickish that he actually felt the need to report it? I mean, it was a cutscene, it's probably identical in both versions.

Seems like it would be very much impossible that anyone would be able to tell the difference between Xbox 360 and PS3 cut scenes, especially concidering its also being shown through a cable network which is most likely using an extra layer of compression on it that would further degrade it from its original source. 
 
Maybe the ad was banned but for these reasons?!?!  I'm calling bogus.
