I been searching the internet for a while to fix this problem that I have, and apparently some others have as well. When I launch the game, I have a blur border around the outside of the screen. I am running it in 1080 and fullscreen, and I can't figure out how to stop this. I tried alt-tabbing out and that didn't help, so anyone got any tips?

My Specs:

GTX 760

Intel i5-4430

8 GB RAM

Windows 8.1

The only thing I can tell you is to check all the settings in the menu before you launched the game. Also uninstall any mods you have active. If worse comes to worse uninstall and reinstall the game.

Allegedly you can fix it by using a mod called "OneTweak" after installing Skyrim Script Extender (SKSE) - I think all it does is run it in a borderless windowed mode. Seems to be a common problem on Windows 8. You'll have to have a look into installing those two, they are easily found.

Can you take a screen grab so we can see what you mean?

Try one of the borderless window mods out there.

@lowestformofwit: @believer258: I found out it is an odd issue that is rather odd to fix. What I found out was that you have to put the game in 256 color mode. Not a damn clue why.

O.o

Well, if it works, it works. I wonder if this is a win 8 thing?
