Can you save after the final scene in The Witcher 2?

So I beat The Witcher 2 a few days ago in preparation for Witcher 3, and realised that the last save I had was before the final fight against Letho

I didn't see any option to save my game after the credits rolled, so I'm assuming that the final choice will not be recorded in my Witcher 3 save due to the fact that it is directly before that scene. Does anyone know if there is a way to get a complete Witcher 2 save file so I can carry over that final choice?

After the final encounter in the Witcher 2, watch the whole credits(damn it, CD Projekt!) and there should be two autosaves. The latest one will be what you want.

And yes, this works. I did before I started Wild Hunt.

Yeah, I just realised that I had imported my manual save file instead of that autosave! All fixed now!

You shouldn't have to watch the whole thing, it auto saves it as soon as the end credits story synopsis rolls.

@karkarov: No! NO!! Don't say this after I watched the whole credits...

Le sigh. Oh well. Witcher 3 is hype as heck. It was worth my futile efforts.
