Trials Evolution Riddle = SOLVED*

Warning: This is utterly insane.

So a prominent Trials player known as Professor FatShady posted a lengthy piece on Kotaku about how a dedicated portion of the community finally "solved" this crazy thing. I could go further, but the article lays it out really well and it a fantastic dive into this rabbit hole:

Keep in mind, this is embedded in a dual-stick motorbike game from 2012 featuring Brandon DiCamillo intro raps. The reason behind the asterisk on "solved" will become clear near the end of the article. Holy shit.

Holy shit indeed. That is quite a big step up in craziness from the Trials HD riddle. I'm looking forward to my great-grandchildren to witness the answer, I guess!

I can only hope that the final box contains a smartphone with nothing but Curiosity on it.

That was really cool, but why does the plaque say one of five keys will open the box under the Eiffel tower, if there were only 4 keys?

@sergio: not sure why you're asking but I've been asked before so assume you don't like kotaku US?? Note my article is hosted on Kotaku Australia (.com.au) also the parent company is Allure media not Gawker.

Not sure if that changes anything. Otherwise no Kotaku is so far the only site to run the story, because I get along with the Aussie editor.

So I have to wait until 2113 to play Frog Fractions 2?

@bollard: The 5th Key is related to a trophy in Trials Fusion -- you have to open up the map editor and find the key in a level. There's video out there of it (from the guy who wrote the article on the whole situation).
