Gilbert Arenas is a 6' 4", 215 lbs. point guard and a skilled basketball player. He was drafted by the Golden State Warriors in 2001 after going to college in Arizona, and after a couple of years became a free agent where he was later signed by the Washington Wizards. Since then, his career has taken off as he nearly put up 30 points per game during the 05-06 NBA season. He even got major endorsement deals and was referred to as Agent Zero by fans and teammates alike.
However, Gilbert had gotten into trouble for spending a lot more time concentrating on his blogging than on his playing, and got injured on two separate seasons just as the Wizards were trying to make a run for the playoffs. He sat out the majority of games between 2007 and 2009 as his leg was undergoing rehab, and during the 2010 season he was suspended a few games by the NBA for having an unlicensed gun in his locker at the Verizon Center and then bragging about it later.
In 2011, after playing 24 games with the Wizards he was traded to the Orlando Magic for Rashard Lewis. Arenas decided to change his jersey number to #1 in honor of Anfernee "Penny" Hardaway.
