Angry Kratos is Back For the 3rd Round

When I started playing God of War 3 it grabbed my attention straight away. The opening scene is exciting with you on Gaia's back climbing Mount Olympus going to kill Zeus. This is the part where the game shows its amazing camera zooming out showing a breath taking view of the whole world. After watching the breathtaking view you reach to the peak of Mount Olympus  meeting up with your father, Zeus. Then you get betrayed by Gaia and you fall back to the Underworld and you have climb back up to Mount Olympus killing every god in your way.
Now that is what I thought was bad about the story in this game, it's predictable. Everyone you see will dies except maybe on 1 or 2 characters. Even the most innocent character's are killed. Maybe because I never played the first game so  I don't understand why he wants to kill everyone. But still story was good enough for me to not get bored of it. Also I did not see the ending coming.
Lets now talk about the graphics, and only two words FUCKING AMAZING. The blood looks amazing and the finishing moves are just sick and brutal. The graphic are detailed and characters just look amazing.  Kratos maybe one of the best looking characters to date. The camera does a great job of showing the great atmosphere and when you are on a Titan the camera pans out and shows you the whole body of the Titan which must have been one of coolest moments in the game. The only problem I really have with the graphics are some of the eye's on some of the characters just look terrible like Gaias eyes and also I got into 1 big glitches. One was making my whole go black screen so I had to turn off my PS3 and turn on again. It was only one but  still it was a little disappointing when it happened.
The gameplay in this game is brutal. When I mean brutal, I mean it is very hard to master. If you play this game as a button masher you will die miserably. At the start I was playing it like button masher and I was fine till I had to fight in a arena where this game kicked my ass. This game is all about dodging attacks and using everything in your disposal. If you don't do this you will die and mostly get very frustrated and throw your controller at the TV. I think this game has a very fun combat system, but I think that the four main weapons in this game don't feel unique except the fist things you get from Hercules. The three other weapons are just blades with unique powers like one can electrocute. Also every weapon has its own unique magic power which I thought was great. There is also puzzles which I did not enjoy and thought it ruined the pace of the game.

So overall I thought this game was very well done. It's not perfect with problems with the pacing and also kind of getting repetitive sometimes. But if you like deep combat and also a great mythological setting to a game then you MUST get this game.
Also the sex scenes are the best I have ever seen in a video game.

A funny thing happened a few hours into God of War III: it became really, really amazing. Perhaps it was the over hyping of the first 30 minutes that so many previews had gushed about. Perhaps it was the considerable increase in hack’n’slashery that I had done this year. Maybe it was even the incredibly misguided Platinum trophy runs of Dante’s Inferno that I had done, but I just was not into this game at all. The giant bosses, the same combat I had played with twice before, and the puzzles whic...

Vengeance Ends Here... The God of War III Review 0

Please note - This review and the videos being shown may contain spoilers, so read and watch at your own risk if you have not beaten the game yet. The God of War franchise has been unrivaled in terms of pushing the action genre and the Playstation consoles to their limits with amazing graphics, an epic sense of scale, memorable battles against foes that are way bigger than Kratos, the Ghost of Sparta, and one of the best theatrical scores in the gaming business. God of War III has been a long t...
