A Classic That Set a New Standard for Racing Games
The first time I played this game I was also saying goodbye to the sun for a good amount of time. I takes a phenomenal game to keep me inside all day and Gran Turismo achieved this rare feat. Gran Turismo opened gamer's eyes to what racing games could be. With a high level of customization and the best driving psyhics of any video game for it's time, GT provided a superb gaming experience. GT worked not only as a game for me, but also as an educational tool on automobiles, their components, and further enhanced my love for automobiles as a young man. While the driving psyhics may not hold up to today's standards of driving simulators, this game has a nostalgic feel from the visuals to audio that make playing it an enjoyable gaming experience in 2008.
