About a year ago I ordered, at great expense, the Shadows of the Damned Soundtrack from Grasshopper. Today I received a strange card.

From any other company this would be mildly irritating.

Because if you get a card from a business, 99% of the time it's because they want you to buy something.

Did you get this today? If so, that card took ages to get to you since, you know, new years is actually old news already. Like, so 8 days ago omgosh

@awesomeusername: I didn't get the mail yesterday...so it might be 7 days late. And you know, it came from freaking Japan. The CD also took ages to get here.

And I only got Christmas cards from my insurance company and my gym.

Apparently this is a thing in Japan. It was mentioned briefly on the 12/28 8-4 Play podcast. Some of these are pretty neat.

Yup, me too. I ordered that same soundtrack and a shirt from them. It's currently sitting on top of my Akira Yamaoka albums.

Grasshopper were the only ones that sent me a card during the holidays. ;_;
