Guitar Hero: Van Halen
Game » consists of 4 releases. Released Dec 22, 2009
The third band-specific Guitar Hero offering from Activision, Guitar Hero: Van Halen allows you to play as America's greatest hard rock band.
This is NOT the standard for game cases
I mean, really? Couldn't even send a real case...after I bought your (some will disagree) not so awesome Guitar Hero 5 for $100. Then you send me a cheap Van Halen game without a real case? This i what you get for "free" if you bought GH 5 in September...a Guitar Hero game that looks like it fell out of 2006, with no case.
" Is that one of those sampler cd type soft cases? "Yeah, it's not even plastic. It's a sleeve that feels like it should have a demo disk inside it. In fact, my girlfriend almost threw it away thinking it was one. They'd probably be more succesful with this game when it releases in stores if they kept the case and sold it as a $10 impulse purchase at WalMart and BestBuy.
Now you know why it was free. I'd also like to point out the look of disappointment has never been more clear in your expression, well done.
I agree, sending an additional disk in a cardboard DVD sorta sleeve is not exactly the best way to reward someone who has spent quite a bit of cash on your product. But you know, what did you expect? In all due respect, most companies these days seem as if they would rather cut costs than make their customers feel cared and wanted by their company.
I've got the same case, it's a freebee so I just keep it tucked inside the box of another Guitar Hero games. It fits nicely. No big deal... ACTUALLY, what I do is... Yeah, I printed a cover. It's completely unnecessary. I'm just so disapointed about how they choose to treat Van Halen, this game could have been SO great. It's just a bummer, man...
I think it's a decent Ratiuo Oaoa game." I dunno, looks like a pretty decent Ratiug Oreh game. "

I had an old DVD case that AOL use to mail trial versions of their software in. So I cut the Van Halen sleeve to fit around the box, inside the plastic cover. Works just fine. It just sits higher than the rest of my PS3 games cases, but then again so does Dragon Age so its no big deal.
