The way Halo reach lets you play split screen system link from console to console is awesome . I wish more games would use the same thing . 

Splitscreen in general is still an option I greatly appreciate in games, these days.

its true more games need it. i would certainly buy more game if that was an option.

I still play 4 person split screen and when its not in games it makes me sad inside.

Perfect Dark has splitscreen in the online play. You get to see everyones views on the screen at once. Its incredibly strange.

Yea but why would you want 2 xboxs with 1 screen wen u could have 1 xbox and 1 screen or 2 xboxs and 2 screens?

I agree. Some of the most fun I've had gaming is when I was round at a mate's playing Halo 3, him driving a warthog, me shooting. 

I just like the people I play with being in backhand distance.

The way you can have a mix of split screen and online players in halo is great as well.

Yeah, my age and lifestyle doesn't call for much splitscreen these days, but I remember when it did, VERY fondly.
 
It's awesome that they offer this, and not only offer it, but allow you to go online with your guests as well.

Agreed.

 Its pretty great, that and taking a guest on line too. I remember Bungie said it required a lot of work to make split screen work though.
