I would personally like to have the option to zoom out of the entire map. This type of game play mechanic is found in Supreme Commander and for someone who really doesn't play RTS games it's a big draw. Doe this game play mechanic interest you?

Yes, but the question is - will the 360 be able to handle it?

Yeah but Supreme Commander is a mediocore RTS and that zoom out feature is a gimmick that doesn't accomplish anything a mini-map already did without having to take you out of the game.

that left bumper option of selecting every unit sounds kinda broken. if it cycled by, say, select all attack units, select all worker units, and select all idle units it would be useful. not select EVERY unit. and we really need to do something about radial menus... like get rid of them

But what if the dreded ps3 fanboy shows up?! We would have to select all of our units to destroy him!!

In all seriousness I agree, it doesn't seem useful at all. Unless the enemy is down to their last squad or something, then why would you want all your army attacking one thing? But then again, if they added it, and are telling us about it, then it must be useful in the game.

I'm afraid the controls might make this game less enjoyable.

Having been informed by a source I trust, the controls work very well for size of the game. No map is so large that you'll have more than maybe two separate armies going at the same time. Also, you can double click to get all of one unit which is nice. The big thing that works well is the circle mechanic. You can drag it to select just the units you want out of a pile. Not one by one but well enough for a console.

In essence, I wouldn't be worried about the controls.
